Airbnb 'landlords' hoarding Sydney rental properties

I was interviewed on A Current Affair about the unregulated short-term rental market in Sydney, and how it's keeping thousands of rental properties across the City away from our essential workers. On average, essential workers who are renters are now travelling up to 90 minutes a day--each way--to get to work in the CBD and surrounding suburbs from the places where they can actually afford to live.

I will continue to advocate for measures that will stop anyone who isn't renting out their primary residence on a part time basis from using Airbnb and other platforms to game an unregulated system that is exploiting the housing crisis.
